The Wolves are excited to announce the signing of 2004 born local defensemen Michael Adamek. Adamek is the first 2004 born signing of the off season, leaving room for only one more 16 year old player to be signed by the Wolves as per league rules.

The soon to be 16 year old spent last season captaining the PCHA Elite 15’s team. Michael finished 4th on the team in scoring and was first among defenders with 11-14-25 in 36 games played. He also suited up for the Wolves 5 times (the max affiliate games allowed for a 15 year old player) recording one assist on an overtime game-winning goal. The previous season Adamek produced 4-16-20 in 26 GP for the PCHA Bantam Prep team.

GM Clay Carson had this to say on the signing of Adamek:

“Michael has many impressive dimensions to his game. He was dominant at times last year for us as an underage affiliate player. He’s got a motor that never stops and a dynamic skill set to go with it. Adamek is mature beyond his years and is more than willing to put the work in to reach his goal of playing in the BCHL. He is going to step into our league and have an immediate impact all over the ice as he did last year during his first taste of VIJHL action."
