WOLVES READY TO BEGIN SEASON AFTER TWO EXHIBITION LOSSES

The Wolves are looking to the beginning of the season as well as more time with the remaining players to work on systems and such. The Wolves lost to the Kerry Park Islanders on Wed 29th Aug 3-0. All three goals were scored in the second period minutes apart. On Friday the Wolves  went to George Pearkes Arena to play the South Island Champion Saanich Braves.

Both teams played very hard but the Wolves lost in the first overtime 2-1 from a breakaway on 4 - on - 4 play. Next up the season opener this Wednesday against the Peninsula Panthers. The game is scheduled for the Q Centre if the ice is ready to play on otherwise we will be at JDF Arena. Puck drops at 7pm
